Our business idea
There is a saying that goes "a penny saved is a penny wasted". We disagree.

A products journey always starts in the mind of an inventor. Unfortunatley, the journey from there to your home is often long and difficult, and full of expensive detours.

In the very beginning, the product has to be manufactured. From there, someone has to buy it from the factory. But where does it go next? Does it go to your kitchen wall, your terrace or your bathroom?

Someone rebuys it, sells it to a reseller, who then sells it to your. And for each step in this long journey, more and more costs are added, which naturally you as the end customer will have to pay for.

Here at BadrumsCompaniet, we import all our products directly from the factories, without any middlemen. We take care of all stages and by doing so we make the products journey considerably shorter - and cheaper. And on top of that, without compromise in quality.

Our history
BadrumsCompaniet was started in 2006 by Daniel Andersson and Emil Johansson. In the beginning, the company mainly sold massage tubs from a small local office in Karlskoga. Today the company sells massage tubs, saunas, steamshowers, shower cabins, shower enclosures, shower panels, bathroom furnitures, massage chairs and outdoor spas with accessories to people as well as companies all over Scandinavia. In the section below, you can read about our history from the start up until now.

2005
It was a humid fall evening three years ago, and Daniel Andersson was sitting in his home reading a news paper article about bathroom furnishings and how the interest for such among the swedish population had increased substanially recently.

He was inspired. He and his friend Emil Johansson had since a while back discussed the possibility to start a company together and a few months later, the birth of BadrumsCompaniet was a fact.

2006
They put everything they owned in to the company and in March they recieved the first shipment. A small office of about 60 square meters was acquired in Karlskoga and they begun selling their goods.

The sales went so well that they were unable to refill their stocks in the same rate as orders were coming in.

Shortly thereafter they started badrumscompaniet.se. The website was at first relatively primitive and mainly consisted of pictures of some products and a phone number for phone orders.

As the year went by sales grew in pace with the companys reputation. After a while the first ad for the company could be seen, on the auction site "Blocket", which also led to incread sales.

2007
During the year the website was expanded with the ability to shop online. The ads were extended to magazines and related websites.

The stock was also expanded, meaning most products were kept in stock most of the time.Earlier, the products were often ordered from factory upon placed order by a customer, which could often lead to waiting periods of a few weeks.

2008
The company had since long grew too big for both their office and their website.

In April, the website recieved a big update, and the logo was also retouched. It was also now that the decision was made to begin sales of outdoor spas, something that turned out to be a huge success.

In July, a showroom of 200 square meters was inaugurated on Häsängsvägen in Karlskoga. Today, most of the companys products are showcased there and the stock is well kept to match the fastest deliveries in the industry.
